The North Carolina Animal & Rabies Control Association (NCARCA) supports all accepted and humane forms of animal euthanasia as performed by trained and caring staff members. NCARCA also believes in providing each agency the flexibility to utilize the most appropriate method of euthanasia given the circumstances. As our State legislators continue to debate various animal control/shelter standards, including euthanasia, NCARCA deems your input vital in ensuring our elected officials are aware of not only your opinion, but also of the medical facts regarding the extremely emotional issue of euthanasia methods.
