Animal Control Officer Position (3/16/2010)

The City of Laurinburg is accepting applications for position of Animal Control Officer.An employee in this class performs responsible public safety work enforcing animal control ordinances in the city. The majority of the time is spent in patrol of the city and investigating complaints concerning stray or wild and domestic animals. Must be able to work independently and have excellent people skills. Must be able to qualify for euthanasia and tranquilizing with 6 months of employment. Pay range is $27,000 to $40,000.
