I have been employed with Surry County for 27 years and in the animal control department for the past 11 years. I have served on the NCARCA Board for the past 7 years and I have enjoyed every minute. I served as treasurer to the board from 2004 until 2008.
My plans after retirement would be for the 1st month or so to sleep late and then drink coffee on my deck. As some of you know my husband is Pastor of Charity Baptist Church and my plan is to have more time to dedicate to our church. God has been so good to me and my family, and so I hope that I can give more time to Him. I want to take this opportunity to thank the NCARCA Board members for all the hard work they do in promoting education and training for Animal Control. It has been my honor to consider myself as one of the NCARCA elite.
